Day 4&5
3 days off from work helped my word count cross 10k, as well as letting me get on the mend a bit from what ailed. It did not, apparently, help me push the “publish” button on the Day 3 post, nor remind me to post at all for Day 4. Oops. So this forgetful writer is combining yesterday with today.
My favorite line written Day 4:
“That was quite a dive you took to be a puppy’s savior. I’d say you slid at least into third.”
…And for today:
“I spent two months cleaning up ‘little oopsies’, as Georgia likes to call them. I was ready to name the dog Puddles.”
