Bits and Bobs is my monthly update featuring personal tidbits and writing news.
Bits and Bobs for April 2019…
You may have noticed I’ve switched my blog updates to every other month. Since I’ve moved to the desert, I’ve been reworking my schedule to fit in all the writing and other things I need to do.
Personal News
Spring is here in the desert, where a superbloom of wildflowers has been a welcome sight…if not a bit tough on the old allergies.
Bri wants her first Easter at the new house to include an egg hunt, so I’ll be hiding some plastic eggs in the yard that I’ve filled with something non-melting, like dollar bills or hair ties. Meanwhile, we’re getting ready for a visit from my in-laws, who are not only coming out to see the homestead, but will be house hunting out by the lake. We’re hoping they’ll relocate closer to us this year (they’re currently an 8-hour drive north.)
Writing News
Save the date! In my January update, I mentioned that I’d just finished outlining Never the Bridesmaid, Book 2 of the Going to the Altar series. It’s finished and being edited for release at the end of next month! So get ready… May 29 is when best friend Angela finds the love of her dreams.
Until next time!
