Day 2
I was looking forward to attending the first local write-in for this year’s NaNo. It was tonight at a coffee place I like. Alas, as much as I wanted to go, I decided to stay home and rest (since I’ve been feeling meh). I did hit the library really quick to renew my card. And check out three books. My time in and out: 5 minutes flat. But then, as we all know, an expired library card is a matter of life and death, so yeah. Otherwise, I was home, nursing my ails and adding to my word count.
My favorite line written today:
“Elizabeth had a better shot at catching the dog than Georgia, whose tight skirt and designer stilettos made her capable only of comical, itty-bitty steps not unlike the escaping puppy’s.”
