Day 7
I’m posting this late (after midnight my time) because I wound up so busy reconfiguring my daughter’s homeschooling laptop and getting her weekly lessons set up that I glanced at the clock and realized I had to dash through a NaNo sprint to get my word count in before I had to leave for my “other” job. I made it just in time to close the laptop and race off to work. Whew!
My favorite line written:
“Beneath the gown of a thousand layers, Georgia apparently also required petticoats featuring a dozen layers more. Her new husband would need snorkeling equipment and a map in order to find the garter and toss it out to bachelors at the reception.”
